Knicks beat Pacers 111-94 and will look to tie the series

New York. The New York Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers 111-94 yesterday at Madison Square Garden in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. Jalen Brunson led the way with 32 points, extending the contest to a sixth game, as the home team's victory gave them a 3-2 series lead.

The New Yorkers led the way to victory with a great defensive effort.

The Pacers were coming off a Game 4 loss in which they scored 43 points in the first quarter alone.

We were able to stop them early and then convert our opportunities. We're going to focus on taking it step by step , said Brunson, who made 12 of his 18 attempts, including four 3-pointers. Dominican Karl-Anthony Towns, who was plagued by foul trouble again, completed a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds despite a bruised left knee.

Game 6 will be played tomorrow at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
