New York. The New York Knicks defeated the Indiana Pacers 111-94 yesterday at Madison Square Garden in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals. Jalen Brunson led the way with 32 points, extending the contest to a sixth game, as the home team's victory gave them a 3-2 series lead.
The New Yorkers led the way to victory with a great defensive effort.
The Pacers were coming off a Game 4 loss in which they scored 43 points in the first quarter alone.

, said Brunson, who made 12 of his 18 attempts, including four 3-pointers. Dominican Karl-Anthony Towns, who was plagued by foul trouble again, completed a double-double of 24 points and 13 rebounds despite a bruised left knee.
