Isco completes 50 games for Betis with a double

This weekend was a special day for Isco. The captain has reached the milestone of 50 games played in the green and white shirt. He played a key role in Betis' victory against Getafe, in a match that ended 1-2, as he scored both of the green and white team's goals.

In this match, corresponding to matchday 25 of LaLiga, Betis managed to add three key points in their fight to reach European positions at the end of the championship. They are currently in seventh position in the table.

Isco has shown his commitment to Betis and with 50 games played he has established himself as a key player in the squad since his arrival at the Betis team in the summer of 2023.

This is not the first time that the Malaga-born player has scored twice in the same match wearing the Betis shirt. Last season he also scored another double. It happened in a LaLiga match against Barcelona at the Benito Villamarín in January 2024. On that occasion there was no positive result for the Betis team as the match ended with a score of 2-4.
