However, on December 30, 2022, the internal restructuring of the Administrative Department of the Presidency (Dapre) eliminated this office to make way for the Presidential Council for National Reconciliation, whose leadership was nonetheless handed over to Ferrer on January 20, 2023.

According to the decree issued by the Administrative Department of Civil Service, Ferrer was "presidential advisor 1775," which represented a monthly salary of $15,174,197 pesos.
