The government officially announced this Friday a phased salary increase for permanent and non-permanent staff of the national public administration , as well as improvements in the same area for resident physicians at Garrahan , amid the conflict involving the workers of that pediatric hospital.
This was established with the publication in the Official Gazette of Decree 527/2025 , signed by Javier Milei, his Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, and the Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello.
The first article of the regulations approved "the Minutes of Agreement of July 23, 2025, which reopened the act of May 28, 2025, and Annexes I to CIX of the Negotiating Commission of the General Collective Labor Agreement for the National Public Administration."
The agreement established that cumulative monthly increases will be applied to current salaries: 1.30% in June, July, and August; 1.20% in September; and 1.10% in October and November of this year.
These conditions also apply, according to the document, to civilian intelligence personnel of the State Intelligence Secretariat of the Presidency of the Nation.
The increase was accepted by UPCN while it was rejected by ATE.
In addition, exceptional and one-time fixed remuneration and non-bonus amounts will be awarded per person: $25,000 in June, July, and August; and $20,000 in September, October, and November .
At the same time, limits were set on the normal, habitual, regular, and permanent gross monthly compensation of agents authorized to perform extraordinary services, with the exception of services required by third parties. These will range from $712,961 in June to $756,776 in November.
The regulations also established an update to the amounts equivalent to travel allowances, the additional allowance for services rendered in Antarctica, reimbursement for food expenses, compensation for fixed travel expenses, and monthly reimbursement for daycare or kindergarten expenses.
The decree established new salaries for national resident professionals working in hospitals under the Ministry of Health and at the SAMIC “Prof. Dr. Juan P. Garrahan” Pediatric Hospital.
