Javier Milei accompanied Manuel Adorni at an event and attacked the PRO: "Don't let the Clean Record lie fool you."

President Javier Milei accompanied Manuel Adorni , candidate for Buenos Aires legislator and spokesperson, on a tour of the Belgrano neighborhood. During his participation, the president greeted those present and offered his support to the leader of La Libertad Avanza for the May 18 elections, although he also asked his followers not to "let themselves be psychopathized by the lie of Ficha Limpia ."
"Don't let the Clean Record lie fool you. You've been here for 17 years and you've never promoted it," the head of state questioned, referring to the PRO (Project for the Nationalist Party) and its legislative activity during his administration in Buenos Aires City. Furthermore, days earlier, he also criticized the failure to promote the project at the national level under Mauricio Macri as president.
In this way, the president took it upon himself to keep alive the confrontation with the PRO party, which had intensified in recent days due to the collapse of the bill to disqualify candidates with criminal charges. "In the City, they don't want to reduce public spending, so when they tell you they're going to lower taxes, they're lying. When they tell you they want to implement a universal income, they're telling you it's the socialist agenda of the failed and the resentful," Javier Milei lashed out, according to NA.
At the door of the party headquarters they were inaugurating, he added that "when they talk about subsidized rates, it's the inflation they couldn't stop and they put the brakes on. When they were in government, they had more legislators than we did. Therefore, don't take cheap copies, don't take the liars, whom they also want to persecute on social media," the president insisted against Macri's administration.
On this occasion, a very striking development occurred: the leader of La Libertad Avanza did not criticize Kirchnerism or Leandro Santoro, who was usually an easy target for his criticism. On the contrary, he aimed all his attacks at the PRO (Progressive Party) and how the differences distanced the groups that initially seemed poised to form a coalition.
For their part, the libertarian activists carried purple flags and lit flares that emitted smoke of the same color that identifies the party. They thus supported Manuel Adorni in his campaign, which will conclude on May 14th, ahead of the elections, which will be held four days later.
