The Marranzini Marra family celebrated 128 years of history in the Dominican Republic.
More than 370 members of the Marranzini Marra family celebrated their third family reunion to celebrate 128 years of history and the arrival of the first four immigrants who came from Italy to shape their future in the Dominican Republic .
With this party , held on August 23 in the halls of Santo Domingo Country Club , the Marranzini Marra strengthened their family ties and reunited to share anecdotes .
The welcoming remarks were given by the Italian ambassador, Stefano Queirolo Palmas , who highlighted the joy "that comes from attending this meeting where the value of the family is evident, something very important for Italians ."
The event was blessed by Reverend Father Robert Brisman .
An emotional evening
Upon the arrival of the family members, there were moments "full of emotion ", with the reproduction of an audiovisual material that recalled the trajectory of the first four members who arrived in the country, initially settling in San Juan de la Maguana , with " descendants practically throughout the national geography " to date.
The first to arrive in the Dominican Republic were Orazio and Antonio Marranzini Ingino , Fioravante Marra and Liberato Marranzini , all from Santa Lucia Di Serino.
