In a statement, the agency headed by Pablo Vázquez reported that the attack occurred at the intersection of Capulines and Ahuatla streets, according to reports from the South Command and Control Center (C2), which alerted officers about an attack with a firearm.
Upon arriving at the scene, the police found the victim lying on the public road, with visible bloodstains on his forehead, so the emergency services arrived at the scene and paramedics from the Rescue and Emergency Medical Squad (ERUM) confirmed his death.
According to statements from a family member, gathered by officers, moments before the attack, the young man had been involved in an altercation with several neighbors, one of whom pulled out a firearm and shot him.
