Disposable vapes release toxic metals, lab study finds

People who use cheap disposable vaping devices are likely inhaling high levels of toxic metals with each inhalation, according to a recent study.
After just a few hundred puffs, some disposable vapes begin releasing higher levels of toxic metals than those found in newer-generation refillable e-cigarettes or traditional tobacco smoke, researchers reported in the journal ACS Central Science.
