Brussels gives the green light to the acquisition of British company Deliveroo by American company DoorDash.
The European Commission on Tuesday gave the green light to the acquisition of British company Deliveroo by US company DoorDash, a transaction worth around 2.9 billion pounds (3.403 billion euros) that Brussels concludes will not have a negative impact on the European economic area.
Thus, the Community Executive does not see any competition problems , given that the companies do not operate in the same market or in vertically related markets.
The case, which was reported to community services last August, has been reviewed under the simplified procedure applied to less problematic cases.
