Bancolombia application will stop working on March 25: step by step for the new 'app'
Bancolombia announced that its old app, Bancolombia personas, will be closed on March 25. The new app, Mi Bancolombia, is now available for download.
The new mobile app has been in operation for over a month; it has been available in official stores such as the App Store and Google Play since January 8.
Through Mi Bancolombia , users will be able to use different functionalities. It is possible to open online accounts, register, consult, schedule and pay bills, track expenses, save with pockets, open virtual investments and send and receive money with Transfiya.
Additionally, these are the new features of the bank's new application:
- Always secure: login with face or fingerprint.
- Easy to find: you can locate the nearest ATMs, branches and banking correspondents.
- Money protection: register and consult the Dynamic key whenever you want.
- Dark mode: activate from your cell phone settings.
- Speed: faster browsing,
- Lighter: takes up less space on your device.

As Bancolombia has already announced, the old mobile application will stop working on March 25. Therefore, users have one month to download the new app and make the data transfer.
For the moment, it is important that you do not delete Bancolombia personal accounts, as there are some services that are still in the process of migration. When you can do so, the bank will let you know.
In addition, the Dynamic key, which is used to make transactions and other movements within the application, must be linked from the old 'app'.

Below is a step-by-step guide to download and register your Dynamic key:
- Go to Google Play or App Store.
- Search for 'Mi Bancolombia' and install it.
- Once you have downloaded it, you will see a screen and a 'Get Started' button.
- Go to the old 'app' and copy your Dynamic key.
- Return to the new application and enter your password in 'Enter Dynamic Password'.
- Select 'Continue'.
- After this, you will receive a confirmation message.
After you have registered your Dynamic key in the new Bancolombia application, you can delete it from the old app:
- Enter Bancolombia people, the old application.
- Select 'Dynamic Key'.
- Click on the three dots located at the top of the screen.
- Choose the 'Delete' option and 'Confirm'.
