During a recent concert in San Francisco, California, USA, at the Chase Center, singer Katy Perry nearly fell into the audience while suspended in the air mid-performance.

The American artist, who is currently on her 'Lifetimes Tour,' sang the song 'Roar' while atop a giant butterfly flying above the crowd.

Suddenly, she lurched downward, as if she were about to fall. However, the structure supporting her quickly stabilized.

And although the situation didn't escalate, the artist managed to slip slightly from her chair and had to hold on tightly to keep her balance. This was in addition to the shock the incident caused her.

Katy herself posted a screenshot of the moment on her Instagram stories, where she looks quite scared, accompanied by the caption: “Good Night San Fran.”

After the incident, the artist continued singing as if nothing had happened.

This isn't the first time Katy has had a scare during her performances. On June 29, during a performance at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Australia, there were also problems with the props.
