Herb Island in Pocheon, the theme park in South Korea that turns its gardens pink.

In recent months, several social media users have been sharing images and videos of a pink-tinged natural landscape at the Herb Island theme park in Pocheon , Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.
This renowned site is popular among Asians because it is considered the largest botanical garden in the country , which also has attractions, museums, and tours to provide a rest and relaxation experience.

In addition, it has around 250 species of plants , a Santa Claus Village and a space completely inspired by the city of Venice, so it is common to take gondola rides to transport you to the Italian canals.
According to its official website, the site was founded between 1997 and 1998 with the first Herb Festival , as part of the inauguration of the fragrance store and the opening to the public of the botanical garden.
Since then, the park has hosted various seasonal events, such as the Pink Muhly in the fall , where staff members cover the artificial trees and sand dunes in pink.

Meanwhile, in December, the botanical garden takes on a different look with the Illumination Festival, where lights highlight the beauty of nature and the 300 statues of St. Nicholas located in various areas.
Added to this, its immersive environment and wealth of details have made the place one of the most popular in South Korea for photography enthusiasts and those looking for spaces to rest or relax.

Over the years, the theme park has expanded its range of services, so that visitors can now access the spa, meet animals in the mini zoo, and participate in the wide range of nightly shows.
In this regard, it is important to note that the site is only open to the public from Thursday to Tuesday from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm , because it is closed on Wednesdays for maintenance work.
The entrance fee depends on the number of people wishing to enter the facility and ranges from 8,000 to 12,000 won (more than 20,000 Colombian pesos), but it is recommended to check the rates before purchasing tickets.
