Forecast for Mendoza: widespread frost for this Monday
After a frosty morning with a low of 0°C, Mendoza will wake up below freezing on Tuesday.
The Chilean border crossing was interrupted by the arrival of a cold front that complicated traffic in the area. Although the Cristo Redentor border crossing will reopen at 10 a.m. this Monday , the cold weather will continue to be a factor in every corner of Mendoza.
For tomorrow, the Climate Contingencies Directorate reported: " Light cloudiness and cold with general frost , light northeasterly winds. Partly cloudy in the mountains." The minimum temperature will be 0°C and the maximum 13°C . In the high mountains, the sky will be "lightly cloudy" and "intense cold" is expected, according to the Meteorological Surveillance Office (OVM).
