Dean Cain, Superman in the 90s series, claims he suffered sexual harassment on the set.

Dean Cain, who played Kal-El/Clark Kent in the 90s series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman , has recently reported having suffered sexual harassment during the production of the series.
"I could have filed the biggest sexual harassment lawsuit in Hollywood history," the actor revealed in an interview with Variety, admitting that it had influenced his romantic relationships at the time, although he declined to offer further explanation or name any names.
It's worth noting that, as the American media outlet points out, there had already been rumors about this at the time, especially given the abrupt end of the series, although Cain had never confirmed it in this way until now.
On the other hand, addressing the clear objectification he suffered, as the series turned him into a "sex symbol" of the time , the actor assured that it didn't bother him. "Any guy who tells you he feels bad about being objectified, I mean, really? Come on," he expressed, noting that it is a "wonderful compliment."
On another note, Cain also discussed his Japanese heritage, recalling how, when his casting as Kal-El was announced, he faced racist attacks, to the point where one fan said they wanted "Superman not Sushi Man." The actor assured that he doesn't hide his roots and recounted how his family "was buried at the Minidoka internment camp in Idaho." "It was a horrible injustice, but I don't think it deserves any kind of reparation," he added.
It's worth noting that Cain has recently spoken out loud and clear about James Gunn's Superman, calling him "woke" and explaining why, in his opinion, linking the character to immigration issues and political commentary "is a mistake."
"In Superman's case, it was about truth and justice, American-style. They've taken that away, they've eliminated that hallmark. Changing beloved characters is not a great idea," Cain told Fox News. "That American way is welcoming to immigrants, but there are rules," he stressed.
