Another day with stifling heat and the possibility of storms in Mendoza: how high will the maximum temperature reach?

The heat wave that hit Mendoza last week has ended, but the weather forecast indicates that Tuesday, February 25, will be hot and with the possibility of storms. The Cristo Redentor pass and the southern Pehuenche pass are open.

The Department of Agriculture and Climate Contingencies reported that today is expected to be a day with “Variable cloudiness with little change in temperature.” The estimated maximum temperature is 36 degrees and the minimum is 24.

In addition, the entity assured that moderate winds from the south and storms are also expected during the night , in different parts of the province.

On the other hand, the Cristo Redentor pass is open to all types of vehicles 24 hours a day, while the southern Cristo Redentor pass is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Meanwhile, temperatures are expected to drop on Wednesday . The day will be “partly cloudy and there will be moderate winds from the south,” the provincial entity anticipates.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 31 degrees and the minimum 25 degrees . The drop in temperature will be due to the arrival of a frontal system. Isolated rainfall is also expected.

Temperatures will continue to drop on Thursday and, according to the DACC, the day will be “partly cloudy with little change in temperature and light northeasterly winds.”

The maximum will be 30 degrees and the minimum 21.
