Actor Cesc Queral, known for his role in 'La Vicenteta', has died.

The actor, playwright, director, and teacher Cesc Queral, known for creating the popular character of La Vicenteta on the TV3 program Tres pics i repicó , died this Friday, according to a press release today. The aforementioned character became a humorous and cultural icon in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when thousands of viewers awaited his appearance every Thursday. In 1977, Cesc Queralt founded the Barcelona School of Actors, which he has directed to this day and which will now bear his name.
