A thief steals unreleased Beyoncé music by breaking into her choreographer's car.

Beyoncé 's 'Cowboy Carter' tour has had a most unexpected setback, after several of the artist's unreleased music files were stolen in Atlanta following the robbery of a rental car used by one of her choreographers.

According to local police and US media, the incident occurred on July 8, just a few days before the singer's scheduled performances at the city's Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The vehicle, a Jeep Wagoneer, had been rented by choreographers Christopher Grant and Diandre Blue, who parked it for about an hour in the Krog Street Market public parking lot.

When they returned, one of the car windows was broken and several suitcases were missing. It was at this point that the superstar's collaborators were shocked: inside one of them were five USB sticks containing unreleased songs, as well as several MacBooks, AirPods, designer clothes, and documents detailing the tour.

The Atlanta Police Department issued a press release this past Monday, in which, in addition to reporting the incident, it explained that it had obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect , whose identity has not been revealed, and who, according to the Associated Press, fled the scene in a red Hyundai Elantra. Officers found fingerprints on the choreographers' car, and security cameras in the parking lot reportedly captured the incident, which facilitated a follow-up that has allowed them to track down the whereabouts of the computers. However, nothing is known about the files containing the unreleased music.

The fact that someone like Beyoncé shows such little care for such valuable material is incredible. If the thief finds a good bidder, they could make millions from the sale of the files, which, if not recovered in time, will surely end up appearing on the internet sooner or later.

Interestingly, this isn't the first car-related incident Beyoncé has suffered on her Cowboy Carter Tour. A couple of weeks ago, the artist was forced to cut short her show in Houston when the red Cadillac she was sitting in while performing "16 Carriages" began to tilt dangerously in the air.

The vehicle was suspended in the air by cables, meant to transport the superstar above her fans at the end of the show. But it slowly began to tilt to one side, leaving the 43-year-old artist clinging to a pole for support. "Stop, stop, stop, stop," Beyoncé yelled as she saw herself in danger .

When the audience realized what was happening, there was a growing murmur, but then they applauded as the star slowly lowered herself to the ground, smiling and waving to the crowd. "If I ever fall, I know you'll all catch me," she said to applause from the audience. Beyoncé's company, Parkwood Entertainment, said a "technical mishap" had caused the car to overturn. "It was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident."

Fans took to social media to post videos of the moment, commenting with Beyoncé's now-famous catchphrase "someone's gonna get fired," which she joked about onstage at another concert in 2010, this time due to a lighting issue.

Beyoncé has been through a lot on tour. During the 2018 On The Run II Tour, a moving platform broke, forcing her to descend an emergency staircase in high heels. And this Cowboy Carter tour, for example, began with another mishap involving a robot that was supposed to serve her a drink, which didn't work as expected, knocking everything onto the stage.

At another concert, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, while parading across the stage during one of her performances, she looked down at the floor to find a marker that was supposed to be painted on the floor. But it wasn't there, and the artist seemed somewhat disoriented until she managed to find her way to the right spot to continue her choreography. At another point in that same performance, she was supposed to be soaring through the air on a neon horseshoe, but a problem with her glove caused a crew member to rush on stage to fix it, while the singer looked on, visibly upset.
