The San Justo Children's Hospital, one of the most important in the Western region, is being renovated

In La Matanza , a major renovation project has begun in one of the most important health centres in this district in the western part of Greater Buenos Aires. It involves a series of building improvements at the 'Dr. Ramón Exeni Children's Hospital' in the town of San Justo .
In order to offer the community better services and through strong local investment , the establishment has been -for a few days- the scene of comprehensive remodeling works that will optimize the facilities and benefit the care of patients and their families.
In this regard, the renovations already being carried out in the health space located on Dr. Ramón Carrillo Street at 4175 (it is just over 200 meters from Monseñor Bufano Avenue -or Route 4-) include the comprehensive renovation of 10 double rooms with private bathrooms.
Two of these new spaces, which will improve the hospitalization area with a more modern design, were specially designed for patient isolation and infection control. In addition, a new nursing service will also be built with an integrated office that will facilitate monitoring of the ten rooms and provide quick access to essential supplies for the continued care of patients.
The health center, one of the most important in the Conurbano, is located just over 200 meters from Monseñor Bufano Avenue (Route 4).
Likewise, the renovation of the pharmacy and the cleaning and pathological waste areas, as well as the creation of a professional room designed to carry out the daily planning of the health personnel in service, complement the intervention in terms of infrastructure that the Municipality of La Matanza is carrying out in the hospital, which is one of the pediatric references in the entire Conurbano.
"These improvements will allow us to optimize care, speed up response times and strengthen the team's capacity to provide a more efficient service throughout the health system," the municipality said.
They also indicated that the project also considers and covers the installation of all essential systems and networks necessary for the proper functioning of the hospital, such as the installation of medical gas circuits, sanitary equipment and electrical lines, among other specific services.
It should be noted that the Municipality recently also made a significant improvement in equipment at another of the local health centres. A few days ago, for example, the obstetrics area of the Dr. José Equiza Maternal and Child Hospital in González Catán received two new state-of-the-art beds designed especially for the time of childbirth .
In total, the hospitalization service will have 10 new rooms.
In order to guarantee the rights of pregnant people and improve the quality of care during births, and within the framework of Law No. 25,929 on Respectful Birth, the Commune delivered the pair of LINET AVE 2 model beds that allow the free choice of the position to give birth (vertically, sitting or semi-sitting) and are "the ones that most favor the process of dilation during labor." And also, communal sources confided, they favor patients when "carrying out the process of preparation, delivery and recovery in the same room" and in the company of the person they choose.
