Rock, Death, and Mexican Babies: Trump's New AI-Powered Hit

US President Donald Trump has sparked controversy on social media over a new video he posted featuring Artificial Intelligence , which features himself in a rock band, with JD Vance and a man dressed as Death.

This peculiar and terrifying scenario, which spread rapidly, refers to the government crisis in the United States, which could lead to temporary layoffs and financial cuts.

The video is an AI parody of "Don't Fear the Reaper " with lyrics altered to "Here Comes the Reaper." It features Director of the Office of Management and Budget, Russell Vought, dressed as Death. It also includes a Mexican baby and ridicules Democrats.

“Now their time has come / Here the power is gone / Russ Vought is the reaper / He wields the pen, the funds and the brains / Here comes the reaper / Pathetic baby Democrats / Here comes the reaper / I'm gonna tie their hands / Here comes the reaper,” says part of the song.

The partial U.S. government crisis began on October 1, 2025, due to a disagreement in Congress over healthcare funding. As a result, key federal agencies have suspended operations and issued temporary layoffs.

Project 2025 is a conservative initiative of the Heritage Foundation that seeks to restructure the federal government, reduce its size, and increase executive power. Vought is one of the main architects of this project.

“I am meeting today with Russ Vought, of PROJECT 2025 fame, to determine which of the many Democrat agencies (...) he is recommending be eliminated, and whether those cuts will be temporary or permanent,” the president wrote on social media.
