Minor arrested with homemade firearm in Tlaquepaque
Elements of the Metropolitan Interinstitutional Force (FIM) arrested a 17-year-old teenager who was carrying a homemade or hand-made pistol on the streets of the Fovissste Miravalle neighborhood in Tlaquepaque .
The officers, from the State Preventive Police and the Metropolitan Police , were conducting a surveillance patrol at the intersection of Ibarra and Antonio Paniagua streets when they saw the minor, who was smoking crystal from a pipe in the public road, so they stopped him.
After carrying out a security check, the police seized the homemade 22-millimeter firearm with a live cartridge , so he was placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Jalisco, where his legal situation will be determined.
Yesterday, FIM elements, also in the Cerro del Cuatro operation, arrested a man who had a valid arrest warrant for disappearance issued on March 14 of last year. This security operation covers 35 neighborhoods on the borders with Guadalajara and Tlaquepaque and is made up of the State Preventive Police, Metropolitan Police, National Guard and the Mexican Army.
