Martin Scorsese retires from filmmaking after seeing Pachuca's new commercial featuring Jimmy Lozano.

Tuzo Boulevard.- Following the introduction of Jimmy Lozano as the new manager of Club Pachuca, filmmaker Martin Scorsese announced his final retirement from the film industry.

As part of the team's renewal, Club Pachuca released a clip announcing that the former interim coach of the Mexican national team will be in charge of the Tuzo team.

Club Pachuca mixed several eras in a 1-minute commercial

The video shows several people in a 1970s-era movie theater waiting for the show to begin. Suddenly, artistic images of the team's past glories begin to be projected, culminating in the appearance of Jimmy himself, who—anachronistically and contradicting the film's setting—is wearing a Dri-Fit sweatshirt as if he'd just left practice at the Home of Football.

The artistic display of this advertising piece has already caused repercussions in the film world. The first to react was Martin Scorsese himself, director of some of the greatest films of all time.

“How can I continue working after seeing such a work of art?” exclaimed the creator of Goodfellas , still moved after watching the promotional video in 4K quality at the recommendation of Guillermo del Toro.

While Don Martin declined to elaborate on his feelings about seeing people from another era marvel at the arrival of a manager, he was emphatic in his decision not to lead another project.

“Seeing photos of the Copa Sudamericana… and even the Bofo… made me rethink everything I thought I knew about cinema,” Scorsese added, not before adding that one day he will visit the Mexican Soccer Hall of Fame, which—due to a twist of fate and a federal budget—is located in the same capital of Hidalgo.

And so you can't stop laughing: they banned music on the beach in Rio de Janeiro, and who's going to tell them?
