Kany García will debut in the VL25

Vive Latino has always been a space without labels, so Kany García will be more than welcome next Sunday, March 16 at the GNP Seguros Stadium.
Yesterday, the Puerto Rican gave a virtual conference to talk about her appointment at a rock festival and the 16 dates across the country as part of her 2025 Tour .
It's not just about capturing my audience, who buy a ticket to listen to Kany García, but I'm also reaching out to a diverse audience that doesn't necessarily know me.
It is true that for these scenarios, we have to make changes to our repertoire and show our talents to reach those who will see me for the first time even though they are going to listen to other artists," he shared during the talk.
Throughout her career, Kany García has collaborated with Carin León, Nodal and even Carla Morrison, among other Mexicans who are well known to people who attend Vive Latino.
"I've been looking at the schedule for a while to see who's playing on the same day as me, and although I can't predict anything, the idea is (to collaborate with someone else), especially with colleagues with whom I have songs. I'm just having the conversations now, but the idea is to invite some friends to these important events," he explained without giving names.
In addition to Vive Latino, she will be part of the cast of the Pa'l Norte festival in Monterrey. For some time now, festivals in Mexico and around the world have been criticized for not having a balanced line-up in terms of men and women, so the author of songs like Te lo agradezco and Confieso addressed the issue.
It will continue to happen. I don't want to say that it is normal, because this word makes us settle, but sadly women have less visibility. We are in times of change, but we will not see them in a short time, because they occur with a diversity of rhythm. The Grammys were one of the first events where we saw greater diversity and I hope that in 2026 it will already be a constant in festivals, because the taboo that women sell fewer tickets than men has already been broken," she said.
Kany García shared that she is in the process of finishing her next album, one that she has already made progress on, but to which she wants to dedicate a little more time.
It will be a diverse album, which will go through many other corners that I want to polish to talk about it in more detail," he said.
The Puerto Rican assured that she will also be part of the 8M actions, however, she does not know in which city she will be able to join the activities.
