India's Imperial Auto invests 430 million pesos in plant

With an investment of 430 million pesos (mdp), Imperial Auto —a company from India—, inaugurated its first plant in Latin America, which is located in Ramos Arizpe, Coahuila.
The Asian corporation will produce high-pressure pipes for industries such as automotive, agricultural and construction.
Eduardo Aseff Harb Parodi, manager of Imperial Auto's Mexico Plant, highlighted the importance of the factory.
“Our range of products makes us the best business partner for our clients in the agricultural, mining, construction and, above all, automotive industries,” he said.
Meanwhile, Luis Olivares Martínez, Secretary of Economy of Coahuila, stressed the importance of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) that is arriving in the northern state.
“We are proud to collaborate with companies like Imperial Auto, strengthening ties that allow us to move forward together and make Coahuila one of the best options for investing in Mexico,” he said.
Meanwhile, Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, mayor of Ramos Arizpe, stressed that the company chose this region due to its favorable conditions.
"The large investments that are being announced month after month in Coahuila are the result of the climate of security, peace and job stability that have distinguished the state and municipal government," he said.
Founded in 1969 in India, Imperial Auto Industries is a manufacturer of fluid transmission components and high-pressure tubing for the automotive and industrial sectors.
Currently, it has more than 50 plants worldwide.
