«Formal proposal»: Rodrigo Villagra's future is defined and the news surprises River

Rodrigo Villagra continues to be one of the main protagonists of the Transfer Market at River . The midfielder has been away from the professional squad led by Marcelo Gallardo for almost a month because his departure was arranged in exchange for 11 million dollars from the Foster Gillett group. But the money never appeared. And now, Villagra's future changes again.
After the agreement with Foster fell through, a club appeared interested in Villagra. This is CSKA Moscow , which initially offered 3.5 million dollars for the midfielder. It then raised the offer to 6 million plus another in bonuses. And now, the negotiation could reach a good end for River and Villagra.
"The meeting between CSKA Moscow and River Plate over Rodrigo Villagra has ended. The Russians agreed to send a formal proposal for 100% of the player's contract. There is a good disposition between the parties for the transfer to take place," confirmed journalist Germán García Grova, who specializes in the transfer market.
"It's a long, complex story with several sides. River never had any negotiations with Foster, it was an agreement between Villagra and the investor to buy the transfer by terminating the contract with River. But the money never appeared," said journalist Juan Balbi on ESPN.
"The player knows that if he doesn't activate now he will be left without a club. There are few open markets left. He started to move elsewhere. He decided to break the agreement and revoke his decision to terminate his contract with River. He is looking for a way out, which seems to be more in Russia than in Brazil," added Balbi.
"CSKA is negotiating with River. There is an offer of 7 million dollars for 100% of the transfer, River will try to keep a percentage of the transfer. Villagra has not trained with the team for 26 days and having the player active for the transfer market is not the same as having him on hold," added the journalist.
"River made a bad decision there, the parties did not think that the agreement would take so long. The biggest loser is Villagra, who had already experienced a similar situation when he arrived at River and did not train at Talleres," he added about Villagra's situation.
