Dog rescued by Alessandra Rojo says he was bribed

Tunnel of cameras.- The dog that was supposedly rescued from the rains by Alessandra Rojo broke his silence to claim he was bribed to be in the photo.

"They offered me premium snacks if I'd let them carry me and pose for a photo. Obviously, I accepted; I'm not made of stone," the dog declared after seeing the uproar that arose from the scene of him being pulled from an urban river.

The dog, identified as "El Greñas," said that he wasn't actually trapped, but was enjoying some bone marrow that a family had just given him, when the mayor arrived with her "rescue" team.

The statements have caused a stir on social media, where users are demanding justice for the animal. According to her, she had also been promised some salmon croquettes, which never arrived after Alessandra filmed herself carrying him.

Once the assembly was completed, the tenderloin was returned to the place from which it had been taken, but now sporting a red bow around its neck and a vest with the legend "I would vote for her," confirming suspicions that it had been used as political spoils.

For her part, Rojo de la Vega posted several photos of "El Greñas" accompanied by the text: "We love all dogs and we don't rule out adopting them... as long as they behave well in the photos," confident that this will help her, one day, seek the position of Mayor of Mexico City.
