Chamber of Deputies seeks approval against transgenic corn and Hydrocarbons Law

The Political Coordination Board of the Chamber of Deputies agreed that this week the presidential reforms regarding transgenic corn and the Hydrocarbon Revenue Law , which aims to reduce the tax burden of Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex), will be discussed in plenary session.

In addition, a solemn session to inscribe in golden letters on the wall of the Chamber of Deputies, the allusion to Mexican migrants, who have not only given strength, but have contributed to the history and greatness of Mexico from where they are outside the country, explained Ricardo Monreal .

“Another issue that we are going to review tomorrow is the one related to mobility, it is a reform that was unanimously approved in the last legislature, we are also trying to release it tomorrow and, if necessary, approve it. On Wednesday we will have another commemorative session, a solemn session on the indigenous letters of native peoples and the Law on Income from Hydrocarbons, which the commissions will also meet this afternoon so that we can deliberate, discuss and, if necessary, approve it on Wednesday,” said the deputy.

ISSSTE Law and Law on Security will be discussed in the Chamber of Deputies

The leader of the Morena party in the Chamber of Deputies explained that there are other initiatives in the works, such as the ISSSTE Law and the Law on Security.

Ricardo Monreal stressed that they plan to invite the director of ISSSTE to appear before committees and provide further information required by the deputies before the plenary approves the ruling.
