The incident occurred at a wedding in Glendale County, California, when a man took advantage of the distraction of the guests and the bride and groom to steal a box from the gift table containing cash and checks intended for the newlyweds.

The scene was recorded by security cameras, where a man of about 40 years old, medium build and bald (yes, the detail was necessary), can be seen entering the room, grabbing the box and then fleeing the scene.

The situation was reported by the girlfriend to ABC, who explained that there was about $60,000 inside the box:

"As soon as we found out what had happened, the music stopped, everything stopped immediately. I ended up sitting on the dance floor, sobbing, surrounded by my friends and cousins."

In the videos, you can see how the subject enters, wanders around the venue, looks at the dance floor, checks out the guests, and, at the exact moment when everyone is dancing, goes straight for the newlyweds' loot.

"It's really scary to look back and see that there was a stranger at such a private, intimate event. It's a real violation," the bride added, referring to the intruder and not the reggaeton choreography her cousins ​​had planned.

Authorities are already investigating to find the person responsible, who will surely say, when caught, that there were only $200 inside the box... and they won't get it out.
