After five hours of protest, residents of Residencial Pensiones clear a road.

After more than five hours of protest, residents of the Residencial Pensiones (third stage) subdivision cleared 5-F Street between 46th and 48th Streets on Friday night, which they had blocked to demand the restoration of electricity service, which had been interrupted for more than 48 hours.
According to Patricia, a resident of the area, it was around 10 p.m. when power was finally fully restored to the entire affected area.
Hours earlier, crews from the Federal Electricity Commission ( CFE ) were working on only one pole in the area, and according to neighbors, they indicated that the remaining poles would be attended to after 10 p.m., after the staff's shift change.
Faced with this situation, some residents temporarily blocked the workers' path in an attempt to pressure them to speed up the work.
CFE workers stated that they would "turn around" to continue the repair work.
