Will Werder’s number 1 Zetterer move to Eintracht Frankfurt?

Frankfurt's first-choice goalkeeper Kevin Trapp is close to a transfer to Paris FC. According to media reports, Eintracht Frankfurt could sign Michael Zetterer as Trapp's successor.
As reported by Hessischer Rundfunk , Trapp's move to France is already a done deal. Eintracht Frankfurt needs a successor for the 35-year-old goalkeeper, especially since their current number two, Kaua Santos, is currently out with a cruciate ligament tear.
According to information from "Kicker" and "Bild," Werder goalkeeper Michael Zetterer is said to be one of the candidates in Frankfurt. Zetterer would have the opportunity to play in the Champions League next season at the Hesse club.
Just on Wednesday afternoon, Werder coach Horst Steffen confirmed at Bremen's press conference that he plans to use Zetterer as his first choice for the new season. If the 30-year-old leaves Bremen, Mio Backhaus would be ready to replace him. Zetterer still has a contract with Werder until the summer of 2027.
