The return match between Inter and Barca will take place on Tuesday, May 6, at Milan's Giuseppe Meazza stadium. Polish referee Szymon Marciniak will kick off the match at 9 p.m.
Barca equalizes twice - narrow victories at the weekendAfter a spectacular exchange of blows, the two opponents drew 3-3 in Barcelona. Inter got off to the better start and, after 21 minutes, the Italians were two goals up thanks to a backheel from Marcus Thuram and Denzel Dumfries. But the Catalans pulled one back three minutes later thanks to a wonderful solo effort from Lamine Yamal and then equalised before the break through Ferran Torres. After the break, Dumfries gave Inter the lead again, but Barca hit back again shortly afterwards: after a beautiful corner, Raphinha's powerful long-range shot hit the crossbar, then the back of Yann Sommer's head and from there into the net to make it 0-1.
Both teams were in contention in the championship race this weekend. Barcelona turned an early deficit against Real Valladolid and remains four points ahead of Real Madrid at the top of the table. Inter held on to a ninth-minute lead against Hellas Verona , keeping pace with Napoli.
