After a stunning finish with five goals in extra time against Olympique Lyon, Manchester United travels to face Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League semifinals. Follow the match live.
Athletic Bilbao awaits. The Basques defeated the defensive talents of Glasgow Rangers 2-0 in the second leg. Cup keeper Julen Agirrezabala, who replaces Spain's international goalkeeper Unai Simon in the Europa League, also kept a clean sheet in the first leg. Up front, number 10 Oihan Sancet and European Championship star Nico Williams are making waves.
Manchester United is bringing hope to a returnee who had been lost this season. Amad is poised for a comeback. The Ivorian has been scoring at will, especially since coach Ruben Amorim's start, and helped keep the Red Devils in contention in the Europa League. Whether he'll be back in the squad on Thursday remains to be seen, but Amad has flown with the club.
Matthijs de Ligt is also back. The new signing from FC Bayer Leverkusen missed the last five matches with a foot injury, but also flew to Bilbao.
