Billionaire Elon Musk's Platform X is once again struggling with technical problems, apparently worldwide. The reasons for this are still unclear. A fire recently broke out in a data center in the US.
Tech billionaire Elon Musk's online platform X has been massively affected by an outage. Thousands of users reported problems on platforms like allestörungen.de. Around 3 p.m., more than 2,500 network outages were reported. Posts could no longer be posted and timelines were not updating. The situation appeared to stabilize again in the afternoon.
The analytics firm Netblocks reported outages for some users for the second time in a week. The international issues are not related to internet outages or filtering in specific countries. The causes of the disruption remain unclear.
The "Bild" newspaper cited a fire in one of the company's data centers in the US state of Oregon as the cause of the outage. According to local media, the fire had already broken out on Thursday (local time). The portal Wired.com quoted the fire department as saying that the fire broke out in a room containing batteries.
