The Kremlin is positive about the summit meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in Alaska.

Kremlin speaks of positive talks at summit
"A truly very positive conversation, and both presidents said so," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, as reported by the Interfax news agency. "This is exactly the kind of conversation that will allow us to continue confidently pursuing the joint path of finding solutions."
Although the heads of state did not announce any concrete results at a joint press conference, Peskov said "comprehensive statements" had been made. Therefore, it was decided not to allow journalists' questions.
