Another US late-night show is canceled . The US broadcaster ABC announces that it is taking "Jimmy Kimmel Live" off the air "indefinitely." The network apparently cites the host's comments in connection with the murder of MAGA activist Kirk as the reason. US Federal Reserve cuts key interest rate. As expected, the key interest rate fell by 0.25 percentage points. It now stands at between four and 4.25 percent. US President Trump has been pushing for lower interest rates for months. However, the rate cut now agreed upon is unlikely to satisfy Trump. He wants a key interest rate of around one percent. Incendiary devices in packages: Lithuania arrests suspects. Lithuania has identified a network of individuals linked to Russia who are alleged to have planned and organized arson attacks in various European countries. They are said to have sent packages containing homemade explosives via courier services to other EU countries and the UK. One package caught fire at the DHL logistics center in Leipzig.
