Stop type 1 diabetes early with immunotherapy!
Type 1 diabetes progresses over years until autoreactive T cells destroy the islet cells to the point where hyperglycemia occurs. It would be prudent to stop the autoimmune process before diabetes manifests. Successful approaches already exist.
