Rottweil district: 20-year-old in custody on suspicion of murdering mother

After a woman's body was found in the basement of an apartment building in the Rottweil district, the woman's 20-year-old son is in custody. A judge has issued an arrest warrant for murder, the public prosecutor's office announced. According to the current state of the investigation, it can be assumed that the 54-year-old died "as a result of blood loss after blunt force trauma." The body was found in a roof box for a car in the basement on Friday, according to the statement. A witness had previously reported the woman missing. The son was arrested on the spot.
