Mass brawl in Neukölln: Men pull knives – arrest

Several people are attacking each other on Karl-Marx-Straße when a police patrol happens to drive past. Several men, who had previously pulled out a knife, are arrested.
A mass brawl broke out in Berlin-Neukölln on Wednesday night. According to local information from the Berliner Zeitung, a police patrol discovered a large crowd of people attacking each other at the corner of Karl-Marx-Straße and Schierker Straße.
The argument was not verbal, but there were also punches, and at least one person in the group is said to have pulled out a knife. When the police tried to intervene, several of those involved ran away in the direction of Kirchhofstrasse.
Two men who pulled out a knife and attacked their opponents were arrested by the police. Rescue workers found several injured people on site, and one person was taken to hospital. Nothing is currently known about the nature and severity of the injuries. The criminal police are investigating the exact background to the altercation on site.
